Our first correspondence with Emese Hulej, the journalist from Magyar Krónika, started off surprisingly:

"I confess, I expected a reserved, odd young man, since he replied to my first email saying he'd be happy to talk to me - at the earliest in a month and a half. Excuse me?! What kind of person schedules his time so tightly and so far in advance? A bit of a nerd, I thought, but of course I was wrong. Now I think he's remarkably deliberate, and very kind. Someone worth getting to know."

This is valuable feedback for me too, as it shows me an area worth developing in: for example, managing the anxiety caused by the passage of time, healing attachment wounds, chasing an "endless flow".

There can be more projects, more learning and more books, more training and more races, more programs and more relationships, more dopamine and more flow, but in the end all that matters is whether it was all worth it.

In 2024, many of us (myself included) would do well to find where the boundary of "enough" lies: where is the signal in the noise, in a world of 'everything at once' and 'never enough', in this age of digital dopamine?
