Super sapiens launch in Szeged at the Sports Festival | May 18, 2024

Getting to know presenter, journalist, and athlete Tamás Gajdos, I couldn't wrap my head around what his secret was, as he could easily pass for at least 20 years younger!?

Getting to know presenter, journalist, and athlete Tamás Gajdos, I couldn't wrap my head around what his secret was, as he could easily pass for at least 20 years younger!?

Tamás is a role model for me not only as a person, a sports professional, and a specialist, but also in the field of longevity (long, healthy, and full life): when I found out his age, I was stunned—I took him to be at least 20 years younger.

Looking at his fitness, professional and sporting dedication, merits, and results, I feel that if anyone has a chance of reaching 120 years, he does.

We were talking about exactly this topic, the "120-year challenge," at the sports festival in Szeged:

regarding the topic of longevity, we also presented the *Super sapiens* book with Tamás Gajdos and my doctor and athlete friend Dr. Péter Turai, an internal medicine resident and the medical technical reviewer of the *Super sapiens* book.

The other medical reviewer of the book is our doctor friend Dr. Szabolcs Bozsányi, who couldn't be with us at this event due to his research work in America, but we thought of him a lot and he was incredibly missed from our Szeged team. Without Szabi, the *Super sapiens* volume couldn't have been born in this form after the *Run, Believe, Live* book.

Besides presenting the books—joined by Juli Nagy, one of our most excellent female marathon runners—the most important thing for us at the event was to dedicate this day to connecting with as many fellow sufferers and fellow athletes as possible, talking about deep topics, and shaping our attitude toward Life, Health, and Sports by drawing from each other's stories and knowledge:

learning from each other, getting inspired, and—to put it slightly abstractly—expanding the collective knowledge base of *Homo sapiens*.

Listening to the presentation by Tímea Legindi, wife of Szilárd Suhajda, and talking to Timi during the break, I received quite a bit of inspiration regarding what truly matters in Life.

The presentation by Dóri Fejes, a sports psychologist and the domestic pioneer of Running Therapy, was just as professional as her therapy and her approach to life. If you read about the movement-induced flow state and flow therapy in the *Run, Believe, Live* volume or in the story of *Super sapiens*, and would like to try it in practice, I highly recommend Dóra Fejes's Running Therapy.

Regarding book launches, we will meet next on May 25 at the Cegléd Running Festival, or on June 25 at the book launch in Budapest, which we will write more about with the Organizers soon.

Until then, you can even flip through the books on the tberci.hu website.

During the past 2 weeks, I have started processing the nearly 200 pre-orders received, writing the personalized short messages—or novellas—on the front pages of the books, and I'm somewhat biased, but I hope this volume will be an experience for many to hold, and I guarantee it won't feel like a conventional book to the Reader.

...And as Tamás Gajdos said after our panel discussion at the Szeged sports festival:

"it is time and the opportunity for as many of us as possible to join the <120-year challenge>:

the 'infinite game' of *Homo sapiens* about a long, healthy, and full life."
